6 years on Melo!! yay me!
So today is my 6th Meloversary, and I can't believe it has been that long since I first found Melo. I remember that I was on Livejournal, and some person on there had Melo and I wandered onto the site. I was like 17 and was so smitten with the tone of the site and the people who used it. Wow that was a long time ago now! I'm glad that I've stayed somewhat active on the site, cuz ya'll are just the best!

I would like to actually learn how to play my guitar. I think I need to make music again. A guitar could be the way to get back into it. I have been writing things down, and I would like to put them to music.

I think my kitty is dying..
she is 14 years old and the love of my life.
I keep crying.
she's at the vets for some blood tests and re-hydration.
I do not want her to leave.
I have known this would happen.
but I can't help but feel like it's still too soon.
I don't want to lose my baby precious.

Thanks everyone who stopped by to wish me a happy meloversary. I've been on this site for so long and I keep coming back after my hiatuses, and I can honestly say I love everyone on here, whether I know you or not. This site is a key part of me being able to always express myself in an unabashed way that makes me feel more intensely. So thanks again everyone, I'm really glad I found Melo all those years ago :)

..people piss me off, and i'm trying to listen to frank to calm me down cuz who doesn't love sinatra?? he's just so smooooooth..and yet i am still pissed ...oh god just as i wrote that the big build in "under my skin" began and as i typed i got chills and had to bop in time with the music and sing along...job well done frank...you are amazing even in death..

waiting for my froyo to arrive
tomorrow i go to interview for my internship..it's in dorchester and it's basically the perfect job for what i want to do..it's a day center for elderly adults with memory loss, and the clients are all independent so it's basically just a place for them to come in three days a week and be social and keep their brains active by doing activities and interacting with their peers. i really hope i get this internship because it'd be perfect for me and then perhaps they would offer me a job later on and whatnot.
right now i've got the john mayer song "just don't trust myself (with lovin' you)" stuck in my head and it's so good
i've got only about five chapters left to Half Blood Prince and i'm so excited to see who the prince is and what happens to malfoy and OMG HARRY AND GINNY JUST GOT TOGETHER!! haha i'm a dork but it's so fun
