the day started early and was loooong, first everyone came over in the morning a lil after i barely woke up and ate then we went to toys r us and bought a mic we needed, this 9 dollar american idol mic, it sounds so clear its great, so we went and practiced and recorded the new songs for the split 7"/cd with Stalingrad and then it was off the to gig, like every lame bloomington party here is the scenario: dirt and dry grass, a bunch of kids with spiked bracelets, black make up and korn shirts, a few people with misfits and nofx shirts with beers and cigarrettes and excesive cussing, and a few big fat white power fuckers! so we had to play first, we only got through like 3 songs, only our friends got crazy and everyone else was shocked and stepped all the way to the back, im kinda glad were not a "safe" type of music,so the stupid american idol mic broke, sergios guitar strings broke and the owners of the lot said we had to stop playing, the band after us covered a bunch of social distortion and greenday and said "this song is a rap protest, fuck rap" and everyone started screaming "WU-TANG!!" then this guy robert started arguing with the singer, this white power guy got on top of my friend matt and wouldnt let him go and cut matts forehead, then that same guy went and pulled Roberts legs out from under him when he was standing on a speaker making him fall face first, then a bigger white power guy came and was about to fight robert, meanwhile my friend vince was way in the back throwing rocks at the white power and the bands heads, fun
