You know, what I don’t get is why people think it’s so damn weird that I can sing along to my JRock CD’s like I’m singing along to my english rock CDs.

It’s not that hard, yanno.

Really.

And my friends who’ve met my moms blood-related side of la familia thinks it’s damn odd that they speak spanish. Ish. It’s not so odd because they’re spanish. But, like, my nonna doesn’t speak alot of english, so that part of my family speaks alot of spanish.

Foreign languages are just... Normal.

You can walk into our house and you’ll likely find a couple of my sisters arguing over which TV-sho to watch, and hurling insults at each other in japanese. Or you’d find a couple of us teasing each other, using different accents.

*sniffs arrogantly* We’re just a very cultured family.

I don’t find it odd, so I don’t know why so many other people do.
