It's been just over 3 weeks since I worked last. My semi-permanent vacation has been nice, but being home all of the time is really starting to get on my nerves. No one wants to call me. Even Wells Fargo, with whom I have already worked before, said they had candidates that were "better qualified". I have a feeling that I'm already overqualified at the ripe old age of 23. I've applied for a couple of federal government jobs that look really appealing, but I won't hear anything from them for a while. However, I also saw a report in the local newspaper's website that unemployment in Nevada is now up over 11%. Sounds like my job prospects aren't as good as I would like them to be.

My dad said he'd pay me for doing some work at his rental house, which is where I'm living now. It's not much, and not many hours, but it's definitely more than what I'm making now. It would be a good supplement to whatever I can get from unemployment. It makes me thing that it may have been a better idea to take the part-time job with Ritz, but there wasn't any guarantee that I'd even get any hours. Fail.

My melo needs some color. Oh well. I'll work on that later.
