I've been really busy with school, last final is monday. (relaxed sigh)
in other news my girlfriend is breaking up with me and I feel like my atoms are being torn apart.

I can't really blame them though, I wouldn't either, it's a LOT of time and effort and a lifetime of dedication for something that might not seem all that rewarding. Don't get me wrong, I think it's really cool, but I wouldn't become one. ♥
True, I was speaking of rather large companies like in the 40's. Lion Brand comes to mind that's been around for ages, though I also had a dislike of their yarns, at least what I had seen in the stores, then I watched this segment on Marth Stewart about their new studio in NYC and was like wow, a lo more then what is shipped of to Michaels or JoAnn's. I'm always a big fan of Rowan even though it is most of the time out of my price range.
Yeah I'd say knitting made it's come back in the 90's. I wouldn't really say the 80's because well...I don't think had made anything was really that popular. 70's and back it was quite popular.
Oh, hello woman. My neglect postcard buddy, boy how time gets away from us. I really should at least get one to you. I am doing quiet well, trivial grievances aside. Your layout is gorgeous, I know this artist but her name escapes me at this hour. She does work on wood though, it's incredible.

It's alright. If only those people knew how close they were to getting their asses beat down by my 50 year old grandma. lol. She would talk about wanting to beat someone down and I would smile and say, "Ok, grandma." SHe's got so much self control. She would never loose her temper. Took me a while to realize that I got that same temper. :)
True honesty all of the time is difficult at best. A lot of people will think that you are stupid. I saw what my grandma had to deal with. She's amazing. Her mind is amazing. Her ideals are amazing. People treated her like an idiot because of her honesty and her southern accent and being an older black woman.
