I need constant attention or else I'm gonna get distracted.

I used to be an awesome listener but now I just drift in and out or get pulled away by beats and measures like I don't have a choice but failure and running from a brighter future.
So, don't pretend to act like you know me and pick apart a mind you don't understand.
The book is long, descriptive, and haunting.
It's full of sentences you can't comprehend.
See, I've got this problem with talking to myself and hardly ever to anyone else.
It's not that I have nothing to share.
I'm just not quite ready to reveal the faults I bare.
But I'm pretty sure that I'd prefer some company.
You might wonder why I'm an asshole or wonder why I'm so uptight or wonder why I don't just chill out and learn how to have a good time

Because I've been let down by the people that I love but I will not let down the people who love me.
