National Waffle Day
Today's National Waffle Day festivities saw me cook a total of 15 waffles, which were then eaten in a myriad of ways to celebrate waffles: strawberries, peaches, apples, syrup, ice cream, chicken, whipped cream. All valid waffle toppings which were used today.
I can't wait for next year's National Waffle Day.

Get ready for a length story, haha. The Ouroborous is an ancient symbol in several cultures relating to infinity and the cyclical nature of life. When I was a young kid, I wanted to be an archaeologist and I remember reading books and seeing pictures of that snake all the time. I'm still pretty interested in various ancient cultures and such, and that symbol was one of the first I remember running across, so that's kinda the story. I guess it wasn't really that long, heh.
why do you have the snake in that position? does it mean anything to you, or did you just like it?
It's a snake swallowing its own tail on my left forearm. I'll have to get a picture up eventually.
Let's see..She's about..8 or so weeks old now if I'm adding correctly. Haha, I know what you mean about the huge cats, my last one was bigger than my dog as well. : )
awwwh cute. How old is she? I have a little black kitty [she's only 2] but very small.
and then I have a 4 year old white with 3 grey spots on his side. My vet said that my cats are small cats. Which makes me a wee bit sad, cus I've always had ginormous cats. My last cat was bigger than my mutt-dog. (:
She's mostly black with some white on her face and paws.

So how about my complex variables professor came in today and was like "Heeeeellllooooo students! You guys are such good students. We should have a waffle day at the end of the semester to reward you. I make fantastic waffles. People come from miles away to get my waffles. We'll have waffles and orange juice, and if you accidentally spike your own orange juice with champagne then I can't really do anything about it..."
