Carnival came and then it was gone.
In Greece Carnival is a very fun and entertaining celebration. It is not like Halloween of the Americans,but it shares some common elements.
In reality,there is nothing scary about Carnival like there is in Halloween.Children and people of every age can dress up in costumes and go up in the streets laughing and throwing comfetti (sp?). I hear in Halloween there are supposed to be evil spirits or something around or something. I am glad in Greece we do not believe in something like that,because it would be scary.
Thankfully, i had the chance to dress up this year as opposed to last year. We went to a party where everyone was dressed up and wore masks!Hehe! I was a she-devil and i even wore something in my hair with little thingies throwing fire, though it wasn't exactly like that! It was very funny! Some of my other friends (two sisters Vaggi and Maria) were Angels and instead wore thingies in their hair like butterflies!So cute! and another friend was a crusader! Boy,he was funny!
And i heard about the Oscars! Yay! Rachel Weisz won the Supporting Actress one! Yay! she totally deserved it!!! I am so happy for her and she has her baby coming up in a couple of months so yay for her!
I also found some weird manipulation of her on the net which was quite amusing! It is quite Carnivale-ish so i want t post it! :)

My days off started yesterday officially.It is nice to know that you can wake up in the morning and there's nowhere you should be.I can stay in my bed ,daydream,sing or do whatever i want.And thankfully my bro has some days off too so it's much more fun.
After my best friend joined the army,things haven't been the same. She could call me or talk to me or see me like we used to. They didn't allow phonecalls for a month and it sucked!She got out after giving her oath like every permanent soldier and then she got out but i was sick and couldn't go out or i would suffer with pneumonia or something! lol
Thankfully i feel better now! and god i have seen dozens of dvds!!! Hundreds! My eyes have grown to the size of a plate by now! But i don't care,it's good entertainment when you are sick and single! lol
And i don't know sometimes i feel like 24 hours aren't enough for me to do the things that i want to do! All my family go to bed and i stay up till 4am, only deciding to turn in because my mother will nag if i wake up too late!Something about messing up with my biorhytms and hers of course since she will need some help around the house! lol

I have finished watching the Lost season one dvd and have enjoyed it immensely! Of course i have been cheating because i am impatient when it comes to these things and i have read spoilers about the new season! I can't wait to get my hands on the season two dvd! But till them i will cheat! lol
I hate how nothing ends up airing in Greece unless it is i don't know what!
Even Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired only for one season at 2am-like any teenager would end up watching it at that hour without his/her parents disowninghim/her or something! Yes, i am ranting! lol
I have so missed Everwood!And thankfully Gilmore Girls keeps airing i can't even thing of what i would do if it got canceleed in Greece!!! Aaarghh!

Anyways,mybro is a sci-fi freak and got his hands on several tv-shows eppies!
We have watched Earth Final Conflict, Star Trek Voyager and now he has some Firefly and Space Above and Beyond. We are currently watching the latter! and yaya my sweet older bro bought me s1,2,3 Buffy dvds yay!
Still, they don't have Greek subtitles but at least my English is good and i can always select the English subtitles for those hard on hearing! Yep,quite handy! Of course i hope that no one should ever need them and everyone could hear perfectly but i can make use of them in the meantime!
I want so badly to work on my sites but i am surprisinlgy bored and dull!
All i have been doing lately is cleaning my room, going out, sleeping, watching dvds and asking for graphic requests! I know i am lame!

I am tired but happy today! My day has been good! Hehe! It was fun too!
I helped a colleague trace a person important to a case she was working on and she managed to get him to do what was needed and she had brought me breakfast at work! Hehe! so cute!!!It made y day! I hadn't realized it was so important to her! I mean it only took me a few minutes to help her and find him but it made her day!
It is amazing how easily we can help others if we want to!
So the lesson for today is always help people when you can! It makes their day and yours!

I admit it! I am a lover of thrillers and supernatural related movies! I can’t help it! Call it the older brother effect, since he got me into them!
I have seen so many!
Recently i watched the Sin Eater with Heath Ledger and Shannyn Sossamon! It was fine but to be honest, though the plot was good, the direction was too slow for such a good concept! Meh anyways! Still i had the chance to admire Shannyn again! :)

Another movie i liked was the House of Frnakenstein with Teri Polo, Adrian Pasdar and Greg Wise who is gorgeous btw! It involved vampires, werewolves and everything! It also had some romance so it got me into it! Anyone else seen it and liked it?
