I just wanted to make sure everyone knew:

The book Melodrama Tic is not actually something Sara helped create. Originally it started as a book about art from people who just so happened to be on this website, but it morphed into a book representing melo, which was not my original intent. In order to be a true Melo Book, Sara wanted the cover to be spiff, an spiff intro, and everything spiff. She also wanted to make money off the book, to support melo.

Price: I can't lower the price. It's set at the minimum it can go that Blurb.com sets. But I have kept the price at a minimum, and am not making any profit off of this (partly because I am generous, mostly because I don't want to get sued later. I am poor enough as it is). So, just keep that in mind.

Content: I only put in what you guys gave me. And those that have ordered, if it seems like I put a lot of MY photos in, I only intended to put one or two. I ended up filling blank spaces with my photos to make submissions look better on the page. It's not an ego thing. (And I couldn't pull off a picture from Google. And some writing pieces just looked better coupled with a photo. So I did what I could with matching other submissions with writing pieces, but some just wouldn't fit and/or weren't big enough, etc.)

Title: The title was simply going to be Melodramatic, but since I wasn't going to use Sara's help, I wanted it to be something similar, easy to pick up by the users of this site, but NOT Melodramatic. I was going to use an anagram of the word, such as Oracle Dammit, or Aromatic Meld, but Melodrama Tic sounded the best.

User Names: I kept people's submissions under (those that gave me them anyway) their user names because I believe that an individual's user name is the intellectual property of the user, not Sara, since the user created it. Even though Sara owns the site it's used on. I may be wrong legally, but I can only hope Sara does not sue me.

LONG ASS TIME IT TOOK TO MAKE THIS THING: Sorry. It was a combination of me being pregnant, giving birth, taking care of a newborn - 8 month old, starting work up again, and laziness. That and a lot of times I was very unmotivated by the amount of work to be done. Why? Because Blurb.com uses a program to make these books called Booksmart, and there are only so many format types to use for the pages. Which I didn't like. So for the majority of the pages I just ended up using the biggest picture format (used for photography books) and put everything together in Photoshop, making a large 3000x2555 .jpeg. This was somewhat tricky because I didn't know how big things would be in real life, on a real page, so some text might be a bit small. In the final revision I tried to go back and make everything bigger. This happened because I tried to cram everything on as little pages as possible. In the end I just gave up and let the book expand a little, so things would actually be readable.

IN THE END, I still have the utmost respect for Sara, her work here, and the users who helped create this book. I can't say I had fun composing this, but I am still glad I did make it. I really hope everyone enjoys the book.

So, turns out there were more mistakes to fix than I thought. Also, Booksmart was giving me a ration of shit about my index, and then I realized I had omitted like... 10 fucking people from the list. So, I've been sitting here for four hours working on this book. But thank god everything is done. I've double-checked everything and I think it's all pretty good looking.

I predict I will be submitting this thing to Blurb.com by this weekend, and it will be available to everyone to buy. I don't want to wait another two weeks for it to get to me, and then have me proofread it (Though I would really REALLY like to proofread it before it goes out to everyone). I want to be DONE with this stupid thing.
