You'll never see this.

Be safe, my dear one.

It's out of my hands.

I graduated in May. From college. Eek!

I turned in my application for graduate school today. I'm nervous now. It's completely out of my hands now, there's nothing I can do. I'm playing a waiting game, and it's making me crazy. They only accept about 40 people every year, and I'm freaking out.

In other news, I'm waiting on news about a job at the public library. I should know next week some time whether I got the job or not.

Annnddd... that's it. All I can do now is wait and pray and hope.

Eek.

Official New Moon trailer

Any suggestions...

As to how to get a smokey smell out of an apartment? I burned something in the microwave (not popcorn, but smells very similar), and I've been airing all day. I think I'm about to make cookies to try to get the smell out. The smell has faded quite a bit, but it's still noticeable when you walk in.

Help?

I wonder...

How much it will fuck up my grade if I don't turn this project in? Of course, it's already so far overdue I'd probably fail anyway.

This sucks hardcore.

Bye-bye spring break. Hello classes (for another month and a half, anyway).

I maded a macro...

But my coding eated it :(

Something random about me.

I'm a hopeless romantic, and I know it, even though I work my best to hide it. It's my weakness and my strength.

Sometimes, you have to keep the ball rolling. Occasionally, you're the one who has to start it.

There was a homeless man standing on the side of the road while I was stopped at a stoplight. I considered for a few seconds, then pulled out my wallet to check what kind of cash I had. I gave him $5.

And then the people next to me gave him money.

And then the people behind me gave him money.

I felt very happy :D

It was nice to end 2008 on a good note.

Guy Fawkes Day.

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, t'was his intent
To blow up King and Parliament.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England's overthrow;
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, let the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!

NaNo update: 6,294.

Blade Runner

It's kinda trippy. And I keep thinking that Harrison Ford's character is Han Solo.

Random update

School is eating my life. Politics are making me sad. I was a lot happier before I started actually following politics. And apparently Wachovia's gone kaput too. Sigh.

Nanwrimo's coming up again. I participated last year and won, but this year is looking a little iffy. Most of November doesn't look too bad, but October and the first week of November look absolutely horrible.

I need to get to the library and do some research on alchemy. I want to do a story with it, but all I know about it what I've gotten from Fullmetal Alchemist and that's not going to help me much. I want to know more about actual alchemy. Last year it was wings. This year it's alchemy. Fun.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Apparently I'm in a video posting mood... Potter Puppet Pals!

Frozen in Grand Central Video... You have to watch this!

I am...

I am...

I am the guy who came out to the entire school in his senior speech
and got a standing ovation for his courage.

I am the girl who kisses her girlfriend on the sidewalk and laughs at
those who glare.

We are the couple who planned and studied and got a damn good lawyer
and BEAT the state that wanted to take our child away.

We are the ones who took martial arts classes and carry pepper spray
and are just too dangerous to gay bash.

I am the transgender person who uses the bathroom that suits me, and
demands that any complaining staff explain their complaint to my face
in front of the entire restaurant -- and shares with my other trans
friends which restaurants don't raise a stink.

I am the mother who told her lesbian daughter to invite her
girlfriend over for dinner.

I am the father who punished his son for calling you a fag.

I am the preacher who told my congregation that love, not hate, is
the definition of a true follower of God.

I am the girl who did not learn the meaning of "homosexual" until
high school but never thought to question why two men might be
kissing.

I am the woman who argues (quite loudly and vehemently) with the
bigots who insist that you do not have the right to marry or raise
children.

We are the high school class who agrees, unanimously, along with our
teacher, that love should be all that matters.

I am the legislator who, in spite of letters running 10:1 against it,
voted in favor of a measure that would legalize same-sex marriage,
because it was the right thing to do.

If you agree, repost this. Do it. You don't have to be afraid. You
can handle it. You're stronger than you think.

I am making a difference. Hate will not win.
