I had a Miscarriage

he ran out on me new years day (the night of the second)
thought i might have been pregnant. thought maybe i counted the days wrong or its just a few days late.
found out im pregnant. about 5 weeks.
I went through the motions of pregnancy alone. morning sickness, tender breasts, the whole she-bang. ALONE.
I went in for another ultrasound and the baby died. the sack ruptured and I was bleeding.

He found out and didn't seem to care. this of all things coming from the man i spent years with. and through it all I've lost everything. Him the family and the baby in one fell swoop.

dear baby,
I've never been the religious sort. but i hope your in a nice resting place. I'm sorry the world was too cruel.

I know how hard it is to lose a child, even one that you weren't expecting. It's devastating. Just know that you aren't alone, that there are others out there and that they will support you in your time of grief. Even if it's just to be a shoulder to cry on and a sympathetic ear, know that you are not alone!
