I had this in mind when I wrote the entry below. I just thought it would be a good idea to write about the great things ahead in the year and see how accurate my predictions were! WHOA!!!!!!!

Kyndel and I did fly out to California to get Seth after boot camp. I remember the first time I saw my Marine after 16 long weeks. <3 They were about to start his last company run at MCRD. It was so strange to see all the boys in their short shorts, shoulders back and marching -- but my heart stopped when I our eyes met, despite those BCGs (Birth control glasses).
It's all so cheesy, but you don't know how it feels til you go through it. I have one of the best memories of the night we picked him up for good-- the kind of memory you NEVER forget.

February is when the year REALLY began! Seth asked me to marry him on February 6th. :) Then he went back to California to finish training.

I had no prediction about April, but Earth Day 09 was one of the greatest days EVER! It was a beautiful day, I went with friends to the arts festival and I can't really explain it-- but it was an amazing day!

Seth and I got to spend the 4th of July together - and declare a new holiday! OUR ANNIVERSARY! Married on the 3rd of July by a JOP in TX.

The summer was full of fun and friends! And PARTYING. Kyndel and I took a summer class - Philosophy. I passed! :)

I changed my major in the fall when school started. I feel like I don't exactly know what I'm going to do with it -- and Calculus kind of scares me -- but I think I'm headed in the right direction.

In September, Seth and I had our formal...ish wedding ceremony. Outside, in a backyard. But it was beautiful. There were *a couple* glitches with the sound and stuff but it was great and as of last week, completely paid for!

Seth still isn't home and that's one of the biggest things I was looking forward to in 2009. But we're guessing we only have about 7 weeks left and he'll be home for good -- until (&if) he gets deployed.

The year didn't come to the greatest end like you always hope, but I made it to 21 and that's all I can ask for!
