i actually have all of the urban decay glitter liners & did it to my sister once, the glitter wasn/t as thick, so they must have used other things too.

well its more than the mayans who were exremely advanced in astonomy. they were only .03 seconds away from the exact time in the lunar cycle. They saw that we are lining up with the center of the galaxy which will connect our solar system with the strongest magnetic influence in the galaxy which is powered by the largest recorded black hole, thanks to NASA.
like i said, its not only the mayans. Many new and possible destructive technologies are planned for release that year, such as the ion powered space shuttle that at max speed travels over 800 times the speed of current combustion methods.
Also, there are the religious wars predicted by many religious fanatics and holy writing scribes who "found the word of god" in the quran, kabalah, bible, and writings of leaders in spiriruality.
(though im a sceptic)
Not to mention global warming. increased volcanic activity, stronger solar power, and the perfect timing for a global calamity that is over due since one happens every half a million years or so and hasnt been one in almost 700k years.

I live in Tucson, AZ, which is mostly suburban/urban, but, that's the trippy thing about Arizona, is even in the bigger places you're usually only about 20 minutes from total isolation.

i didn't catch the live one, though i thought the previews looked interesting. for me, the cartoon will hold higher. even with effects, you can't get the same humor from live action that you get from the cartoon.
