So I cant believe Melo. I mean, its been down for so long that Ive been forced into new forms of self expression. Let's recap my awesome week...not like anyone is even going to read this. Saturday night Mike's band was playing a show at the Siberia Bar in the city, so we headed down there and arrived late due to tons of traffic we hit on the West Side Highway. Anyway, long story short, they played their set and a half hour later we were all piled into the car driving back to Jersey for another show in Ringwood. Once there, we discovered that the crowd wasnt the usual one-the bar/pub/liquor store was crawling with middle aged men and college students, mainly bros. However, I aquired a few free beers and got pleasently drunk, rocked out, engaged in some drunken conversation with some strangers, and really enjoyed myself. Mike and I didnt get back to the slums until 5am, so we both passed out rather quickly. Sunday I decorated some Xmas cookies. Man, oh man. Next Tuesday I get to go to see The Rockettes with my mom and my cousin, who I just found out has lived in Manhattan for like, months now. Then, next Friday is a World Inferno show at Bowery Ballroom that should be great-wherever that is. Anywho, Im off to go coat hunting. More from me later.

So I guess Melo is semi-runnign again, which I realized I havent updated this thing is quite some time, and now that it is down, all I want to do is update. Halloween was awesome. I went to the city and to two shows. One of which was my boyfriend's, and then World Inferno which turned out to be fucking sweet. I got a huge brusie on my leg and its awesome. Well, enough here. Im off to the motherfuckin dry cleaners, bitch.

Well well well...I have not updated this bullshit in many days. This past weekend was killer. Friday night, Mel, Mike, and myself all drove down to Bound Brook to see a much-anticipated World Inferno show, but it turned out to be sold out, so we went to a diner instead and then back to my place. Saturday I worked at el Dry Cleaners as I do every Saturday, and then Mike and I went into Manhatten for a Queers/Ten Foot Pole show. Fun times. Sunday we went to see Alien vs Predator, which turned out to be really intense, then we stopped by the fair, which we waltzed into for free because the gates were wide open. In other news, Im super happy, I ran out of gas the other night, work rules, and Ive been really busy. Right now, however, I have decided to fill out a killer survey for your enjoyment. BORING! It’s 1:00 and Im just sitting around waiting to go to work, so I asked myself," Why not update your melo, silly?" So here I sit, listening to Modest Mouse and drinking V8 out of a children’s cup my family aquired from Olive Garden which is decorated with colorful characters such as Ricky Ravioli and Tonya Tomato. It’s a fun cup.
Yesterday Danny and Mel picked me up and we headed out to Hackensack to go to First Place Tattoo. We stopped at Andover Diner on the way, and then made it to the tattoo place around 3, but the guy was booked and couldnt squeeze us in, so we went to Hamburg, but they were booked there, as well, so we rented Blood Lake and went back to Danny’s to hang out. We watched Jurassic Park and then everyone fell asleep for an hour. I came home around 8, and was so beat that I didnt feel like going out anywhere else. I get off work at 7, tonight, and I know that when I get home Im going to be extremely bored of my life. That is another thing...
Repetition has gotten the best of me, lately. I work everyday, and then after work I usually hang out with someone and/or talk online or watch TV. Not saying that I dont like the way things are going, I cant really complain. I love my friends and I love hanging out with everyone, but I really need something new in my life. Im bored. I do the same thing all the time and I really need to do something about this. I want to go get my tattoo this week, but I know that I need to make an appointment somewhere, and that could mean waiting weeks more to get it done. I procrastinate way too much. I think this weekend I want to take a trip down the shore or something like that...I want to be near the ocean. Its too bad there isnt some kind of a show down in Asbury I could attend. If anyone knows of any kind of a show down in Asbury on Saturday night, Sunday or Monday-let me know so that I can rush down there. I need something new, Im serious. I do the same kind of crap way too often. I cant complain..things are going swell, but like everyone else, I need a valid reason to wake up in the morning....

So I know I never really update this thing, anymore, but Ive been really busy. The weekend was interesting. Friday night, Dina and I went to the movies and saw THE NOTEBOOK. It was really emotional and made me wish I was in love like that. It inspired me to want for better things for myself, and to better my life. I dont know....sometimes movies do that to me. Ive been thinking a lot about the past, lately. I mean, I usually do anyway, but lately more then usual. I am looking for something new to make me really excited about life, again. I need something new...
So Saturday I hung out with Mel and we went to Danny’s and chilled for a while. His parents came home yesterday, so I guess that ends the anything-goes hanging out at Danny’s we’ve been doing all week. Yesterday I drove Jamie to Willowbrook so that he could take the bus into the city, and I drove home by myself with deep thoughts running through my head. Good times. When I got home, Jay came over. We hung out and watched Haggard, and then we went and picked up Chris and went to the mall. Tomorrow Im going to get my Alk3 tattoo and it’s gunna be sweet.
